Since 1999 Firmac’s range of automated machines have been fitted with integrated PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers). These industrial PLCs provide a robust and reliable system to support the high quality output expected of all our machinery.

Over the past decade automation technology has advanced enormously which is excellent news for the end-user but can be a real challenge for machine builders. During this time all of the old circuit boards and many components have become obsolete making new replacement boards unavailable.

Although we still support the old controllers and carry many new and second user spares, the risk of failing to repair a machine is becoming increasingly likely. Therefore to negate future problems and provide a long-term proven solution we would recommend an upgrade to our current PLC controller which includes:

• 5” (12.5 cm) colour touch screen
• New motor inverter (for speed control)
• 24v DC control system
• Safety relay protection
• All wired on assembled panels, including new control gear
• 3 Phase 380-420ACV and Single Phase 200-230ACV Options
• 12 month warranty on all parts and labour
