Firmac is celebrating five years at their purpose built factory at Elge House, Eastfield. The factory also houses FES and Firth Sheet Metal which was established almost 50 years ago. To coincide with the celebration, agents working on behalf of Firmac visited the Eastfield based factory for a two day training programme, 21-22 May 2014.

International visitors from Russia, Finland, Portugal, France and Germany spent two days learning more about the Firmac product range in particular several new which will be launched at International exhibition EuroBLECH in Hannover in October.

Simon Morrell, General Manager explains why the company has invested in the training, “The past two days has given our agents the opportunity to learn about new innovation at Firmac first hand, whilst also providing a forum to share ideas with each other. Our agents are our international sales team and it is therefore essential they are equipped with the best support and information we can provide. Following the success of the days we intend to make this an annual event. We are particularly grateful to HSBC who allowed us to use their meeting facilities at Eastfield”.

Since its launch in 1985 Firmac has gone from strength to strength. It now commands a leading position in the international marketplace and is recognised as a forerunner in design and innovation. Combining the strengths of a professional internal design department with experienced electrical and mechanical engineering the company now exports 95% of its business to over 50 countries worldwide.
