Mechanical Engineering Apprentice, Elliot Clark has been awarded Scarborough TEC Apprentice of the Year. Elliot has completed 3 years of his 4-year apprenticeship. The first 3 years has been a combination of learning at Firmac and day release at Scarborough TEC.

Elliot’s final year will be spent wholly learning in the mechanical engineering team at Firmac. He has progressed from milling and is now CNC milling, forming an integral part of the team which manufacturers world leading duct forming technology.

David Elwick, Mechanical Engineering Manager at Firmac praises Elliot’s work ethic. “Eliot joined us as a school leaver. He is talented young man and the award is well deserved. He is punctual, works hard and is keen to learn – everything you want in an engineering apprentice. We are all very proud of him and his achievement.”
